Overview
Rapid changes in technology, market demands, and expectations have paved the way for the conceptualization and implementation of Agile methods and values in many organizations. Agile relies on adaptive planning and iterative development and delivery. It focuses primiarily on the value of people in getting the job done effectively. (AECâ„¢) Certified Professionals should appreciate the concepts of Agile development and have the ability to compare and choose the Agile methodology appropriate in a given situation.
Applicants will be awarded the Agile Expert Certified (AECâ„¢) certificate by SCRUMstudy after successfully passing the certification exam.

Audience Profile:
This certification is appropriate for anyone interested in getting familiar with the concepts and practices of Agile Project Delivery, and who wants to have a working knowledge of the various Agile methodologies.
Prerequisites
There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, a SDCâ„¢ or SMCâ„¢ certified professional will be able to easily understand the concepts required for the certification exam. Alternatively, you can attend a 3-day AECâ„¢ classroom training provided by a SCRUMstudy approved Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.)
How to Apply
1. Register on SCRUMstudy.com and apply for the exam (OR) Attend a classroom training provided by a SCRUMstudy Registered Education Provider and then register on SCRUMstudy.com
.2. Apply for the exam by paying USD 550 or by using the exam voucher provided by the SCRUMstudy REP.You need to submit relevant documents (if required).
3. Access the online course and take the exam
a. Get access to online course on 'Introduction to Scrum'.
b. Copy of SBOKâ„¢ Guide online version.
c. Schedule the two hour proctored exam date & time.
d. SCRUMstudy verifies the application; confirms the exam date & time.
e. Take the two hour proctored exam online.
4. Upon successful completion of the exam get an online certificate.
a. Your name will be added to the SCRUMstudy Certification Registry.
b. The physical certificate and a lapel pin will be shipped to you.
c. If you are unable to pass the exam, you can schedule again and take a maximum of two free exam retakes.
Maintaining Certification
To maintain the certification status, Agile Expert Certified (AECâ„¢) professionals will need to earn 40 re-certification credits every 2 years
